Eligibility Requirements:
(Dual lessons in a aircraft can begin at any age.)
Be at least 16 years old to solo.
Be at least 17 years old to receive your private pilot certificate.
Read, speak, write, and understand English.
Hold at least a third class medical certificate. (If you cannot do this obtaining your light sport certificate is a great option).
Privileges:
A private pilot is free to travel almost anywhere in the United States and the World! You won’t be able to fly in the clouds, and cannot go higher than 18,000ft, but that’s why adding and instrument rating is a great idea! Aside from that, the sky is literally the limit for a private pilot!
